The Live Shows Are Next

When the knockout round is complete, they will move onto the live shows. The live shows are the final round of The Voice. Every week will be a competition between each team to determine which two will be going home. In this round the audience is able to get involved by voting for their favorite performance. The voting determines which two will be going home each week, the judges are simply coaches and have no say on who gets voted off. In the end there can only be one winner, and that winner will be named The Voice.

Knockouts Are On The Way

The battle rounds have come to an end and the knockouts will soon begin. The knockouts consist of only the best competitors with the strongest voices. The artists will be unaware of who they are competing against in the knockout rounds until the moment they take the stage. The judges give a lot of  free space to their artists as they allow them to choose their own song for this round. When it comes time to perform the artist will see their competition. While one is performing individually the other is sitting right behind them watching and listening to their competition. In the knockout round there is not an opportunity for the coaches to steal anyone. The coaches will choose a winner between the two competitors based on multiple different ideas, and the one who does not get chosen will be sent home. The winner will then be moving on to the live shows and be one step closer to becoming the winner of season 6 The Voice. Below is an image of a knockout round from season 5 as an example of what it is really like.

Battle Round Two

A new round has been added to the voice, battle round two. It is identical to the previous round of battles except for when they were informed of their battle partner. When it was time to begin the rehearsal the partners were united and had to work together to decide on a song from a list of three given to them by their coach. With the help from their coach and Chris Marin as an extra adviser, every artist practiced hard to improve the song they chose. Another difference between battle round two and the previous round of battles is that the coaches only get one chance to steal, making the atmosphere even more competitive for not only the artists but also between the coaches.

Usher Makes History

As the show continues and the talent fills the room the judges are beginning to fill their team. Week two of the battles has just begun and will always be remembered. Twenty six year old twin brothers got the crowd excited as they performed Keep Me In Mind by the Zac Brown Band. With just seconds before the song came to an end Usher casually hit his button with his foot. He was sitting their relaxed with his feet up on the table in front of him when he shocked the crowd by unexpectedly using his foot to get the brothers on his team. User made history by using his foot to capture yet another talented artist that he will be coaching.

Battle Round

The teams have been set and the battles have begun. Each coach has to now put two of their own team members against each other to battle it out. They will be fighting against each other for their chance to move on to the next round in the competition. In the battle round all of the coaches will be facing the singer while they perform. They listen for many little things, as this round is critical. The coaches have to make a decision between the two artists, as they only get to keep one on their team. This round also has a little twist to it. Each coach is given to steals to apply during the battle rounds. The steals are used when an opposing judge admires the performance of the singer that lost the battle. Stealing in the battle rounds is like an extra token for both the judges and the performers. The battles along with the steals provide a great deal of entertainment as The Voice continues.

The Big Red Chairs

As the season continues the competition between the coaches in their big red chairs has become more competitive than ever! For those of you who have not watched it yet I will briefly explain the purpose of the chairs. Each judge has their own chair, and on each chair is a button which they press to turn around for the singer. When they turn around the bottom of their chair lights up, "I want you" and the floor from their chair to the stage will light up white. However if they do not push their button when the song is over their chair will automatically be turned around with a red light leading to the stage and their chair will not say, "I want you." With this being the sixth season all the mistakes, struggles, and secrets have been resolved. There is a lot of power in the hands of the coaches to attract to the natural talent and make the right decisions. After watching The Voice for five seasons straight it still never gets old. The coaches sit in their chairs teasing each other on whether to hit their buttons or not. They know what they are looking for and the singers are giving it their all to turn at least one chair.
